The Create a new project item allows you to start the wizard for creating a new project.
In this window the user can enter the name of the project, the description, the author and the folder where the project file will be saved.
The next step allows you to select the product model from the family of HMI devices and PC based products.
EW100 identifies the operator panel family.
Within each family, the user can select the precise model based on the size of the display and the communication ports.
It is also possible to define whether the product is used horizontally or vertically.
The next step is to select the communication port with the control and the relative communication driver.
The user can load up to 32 times the same driver on a COM port. (for example in order to manage a master-slave network).
The user can load up to 32 instances of the same or different drivers on an Ethernet port.
