What does a script is

By script we mean code written by the user in order to extend or customize the default functions predefined in the product.

Writing script code is not necessary but can be useful to reduce the functionality of the controller.

 

A classic example of script-managed functionality is machine maintenance.

Crew can use the software timers and internal tags to calculate the timing for the maintenance of the machine and provide the operator with all the information necessary to correctly complete the maintenance.

 

A second example is the possibility of managing alarms in a customized way using the functions and properties exposed by the ALARM object ?????
